All eyes were on the Artz Centre last weekend as the staff and students put on their first production of 2017. The show was performed over 3 nights to over 300 guests as the students sang the greatest hits of the 1990’s.
As usual the standard was incredibly high with students tackling some of the biggest songs ever written, such as Celine Dion’s Titanic hit My Heart Will Go On and the Whitney Houston classic I Have Nothing, but the weekend belonged to a young lady, still only in year 8 who challenged herself to take on the iconic Bodyguard showstopper I Will Always Love You, the young lady in question was the amazingly talented Imogen Nester who performed on all 3 nights and had standing ovations all weekend, a truly memorable performance.
All in all a great start to another long year of shows, and if this one was anything to go by then they will certainly emulate the achievements of 2016.
“Once again the Artz Centre have put on another brilliant show, I attended all 3 nights and I loved every minute of it, it’s great to see all the talented kids performing and I can’t wait for the next one“
